Australian Sandalwood  versus Indian Sandalwood 

One of the most prestigious essential oils of Australia, Australian Sandalwood, is sustainably sourced by indigenous Australians, who have identified the best Sandalwood to harvest.

Our Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spiactum) essential oil is sweeter and far more attractive than Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album). Australian Sandalwood essential oil has many aromatic benefits including being great to meditate with or relax and unwind and is renowned as an antiseptic oil, it is good for teenagers skin blemishes.

Anise Myrtle versus Aniseed

One of our favourite essential oils of Australia, Anise Myrtle, has a superior and fresher licorice aroma compared to traditional Aniseed essential oils.
Traditional aniseed comes from the 1 metre shrub, Pimpinella anisum. Anise Myrtle (Syzygium anisata) grows to a height of up to 40 metres, in the temperate rainforests in mid north New South Wales.

Lemon Myrtle versus Lemongrass

Of all of the Australian essential oils, perhaps Lemon Myrtle has had the fastest rise in popularity in the last 15 years. Lemon Myrtle is far more uplifting and more pleasant than Lemongrass  (Cymbogon citratus), Lemon Myrtle contains around 95% Citral, whereas Lemongrass contains up to only 70%

Rosalina (Lavender Tea Tree) versus Lavender

Both oils are helpful for rest and relaxing, both are peaceful, however Rosalina has some very pleasant and fresh elements, which are great in making rooms fresh. Rosalina provides an oppotunity to get away from traditional Lavender, if you have become tired of using the same old Lavender. Rosalina is one of the finest essential oils of Australia.

Lemon Ironbark versus Lemon

Australian essential oils have many new and interesting varieties, Lemon Ironbark is a beautiful, smooth, pleasant Australian essential oil, it is highly aromatic and wonderful to enjoy. Lemon Ironbark is a tall Eucalyptus tree of far north Queensland. Lemon Ironbark is very high in Limonene. Limonene is a known antiviral.

Fragonia versus perfumes

There are many new Australian essential oils, Fragonia essential oil is one of the newest, discovered recently, it has only been grown in the last decade or so. It is only grown on one farm in Australia and nowhere else in the world. It has a very unique aroma, which has great aromatic appeal.
